The Surgeon

I am a double board-certified surgeon in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I practice as a trauma surgeon in Miami, where I serve as Trauma Medical Director of a Level I trauma center β€” the highest trauma designation that exists.

Level I trauma is medicine with no margin for error. It's where decisions are made in seconds and accountability is absolute. That environment doesn't just shape how I operate β€” it shapes how I think, how I lead, and how I coach.

My practice spans trauma, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, robotic surgery, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and surgical stabilization of rib fractures β€” alongside contributions to the peer-reviewed trauma literature.

The Educator

I don't just practice medicine. I decide who gets to.

I direct the surgical education of university medical students. I know exactly what separates the student who impresses on rotation from the one who blends into the wall — because I'm the one doing the evaluating.

I train surgical residents day in and day out. I see what makes residents thrive, what makes them stall, and what program leadership actually values when no one's watching.

The Entrepreneur

Beyond the hospital.

A career in medicine doesn't have to end at the hospital doors β€” mine doesn't.

Together with my wife, I co-founded a luxury medspa brand built on the same standard of excellence I hold in the operating room. What started as a single vision has grown to three corporate locations and is now scaling into a franchise model.

Why does that matter to you? Because the physicians, nurses, PAs, and NPs I work with don't just want to survive their training β€” they want options. Clinical leadership, academic medicine, entrepreneurship, brand-building. I've built all of it simultaneously, and I coach with that full picture in view.
